Are you a team member?
According to your screenshot, there are a few possible solutions that you can try:
- Check if you have the permission to create channels in the team. Please confirm with the team owner to go to More options (…) next to the team > choose Manage team > Settings > Member permissions and make sure the option Allow members to create and update channels is selected.
- Check if the team has reached the limit of channels. About more details, you may refer to the article.
- In Microsoft Teams Admin Center > Manage teams > select the team and click Settings > click the Edit button in the upper right corner of the window > make sure to enable the option "Add and edit channel ".
- If you’re using the Teams desktop or mobile app, try using the web version: https://teams.microsoft.com/ to check if the issue still exists.
- Ask another team owner to remove your account from the team and re-add you back to the team as the owner. And see if this will make any difference.
