You may go to one Office application > File > Account > Product Information, check the version name.
the applications only allow me to log in with my school email address portal
Could you please share us with a screenshot? Please note, if there is any email address, you may cover it to protect your privacy.
- Then I suggest you go to Windows Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School, if there is one connection to your school, please select Disconnect to have a check.
- Besides, please type 'credential manager' in the Windows search box on the taskbar and select Credential Manager Control panel > Windows Credentials > Remove the credential of your school account.
- Restart your Office apps to sign your personal account to have a check.
If these steps do not work, I suggest you uninstall Office and re-install Office via your personal account.
- To uninstall Office, please try Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant.
- To re-install Office, please restart your machine, and sign your personal account into aka.ms/office-install.
