Is there a way to add existing VMs in Azure to VM Insights using Azure Python SDK

I'm in the process of migrating hundreds of VMs from log analytics agent to azure monitor agent. Want to use VM insights as well. Would be great to use azure python sdk for this. Open to other methods too.

2023-11-29T23:19:09.3966667+00:00 Yeah, that suggestion is rather obtuse from my viewpoint, just using the generic deployment operations. I don't really know where to begin with how to use that method.
