Force Login and Sync in Microsoft Edge

Hello,

Anyone know if there is a way to force login to Edge with a user's 365 account and then force Sync to On? We've been experimenting with the latest Edge set of policy templates but cannot seem to find the right combo.

Setting the Force synchronization of browser data and do not show the sync consent prompt does login to Edge as the current user but does not set Sync to On when set to Enabled.

We have set the Browser sign-in settings with Not Configured and to Enabled - Force users to sign-in to use the browser but neither of these makes the first result any different.

Finally found the reason these settings weren't working. There was another GPO in the Computer Configuration Microsoft Edge - Default Settings (users can override) area set to Disabled. We changed this to Not Configured and then all the settings from Force synchronization of browser data and do not show the sync consent prompt started working all the way and Sync was successfully On by default.

Browser sign-in settings were left as Not Configured

anonymous user would you mind posting exactly which settings you used and how they were configured?
I've tried so many combos and none will auto sync without user interaction. It signs in automatically but requires the user to 'Complete Sign In'.
We have a hybrid Azure AD joined domain. I'm assuming you do too? Also, do you use MFA and is that my issue perhaps?
Would be very grateful to hear which settings you used.
    Thanks.

See the GPO config at Computer Configuration>Admin Templates>Microsoft Edge> Hid the First-run experience and splash screen

Let me know if that helps, if not I can do some more looking at the settings we have

Now I get this, is that MS unnecessary "user choice"?
