Hi,
- We suggest that you could contact the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center or call the Microsoft Licensing Activation Centers for guidance to activate.
- Windows server external connector is a base External Connector License (ECL) assigned to a server, while windows remote desktop service external connector is Additive External Connector License.
Different products or functionality/features need different Additive External Connector License, and they must be used in conjunction with the base External Connector License.
So, an organization with a Remote Desktop Services ECL still has to acquire a Windows Server ECL for every instance of Windows Server accessed by external users.
