In Fort Worth, Texas, learning how to use Azure but I cannot manage to get through this module. Something appears to be wrong with the sandbox. Read a few of the Q and A , but none of the ones I came across were of help.

By the way, I already tried login out and and back in, rebooting my PC, I even ran updates. I also tried to change the access ID under subscriptions, but I have no permission. Probably because I have a student account.

we have made several attempts but have been unable to replicate any errors.

In case it has been over an hour since you finished the prerequisite, specifically Unit 3 - Exercise - Create an Azure Virtual Machine, your VM will have been automatically removed, leading to an error in Task 1.

My learning account doesn't allow me to change my role to contributor. I don't understand why they would assign such exercise. It seems to me that without such exercise is futile.

Unless there is another way of creating a VM.
