Hey All,
Got an issue that has me stumped for a few days now.
I am trying to get users to install print drivers for printers on their local network. They are using IP address to connect directly to the printers. There is no print server as yet as this is a new site and we just need to get these guys up and running. All the devices are intune enrolled.
I have gone through and put in the policies to allow the printer GUID and PNPPrinter GUID. I have also done the config for the point and print settings to allow non admins to install drivers but no matter what I do it still keeps popping up asking for admin credentials.
The drivers are being installed using the "Windows Update" method in the driver selection as the drivers are listed there once it is populated.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Can you package the driver and install it for the end user?
I have not done that yet. That was the next step I was going to do, but issues at the moment with the intune devices that will not allow me to run anything other than a store app. So need to find that policy that is doing that. Otherwise will do the driver packaging when I get home to my desktop and do it from there, but was really hoping to get it working using the normal method of selecting the printer driver from the populated list as there are so many printers on this site that packaging them up will be a long process and I wanted to get something sorted out quickly in the interim.
