I received an email that says "To avoid potential service disruptions, upgrade any Azure SQL Database resources that use version 2014-04-01 APIs to a newer stable version by 31 October 2025."

What do I need to do? i have a function and an app that uses this?

    Hi Moschem,

As per the notification you will have to renew the API as per the MS table and suggestion, as it will be stopped and not supported going forward so best way is to test the upgrade process and understand the implications on this.

So the new APIs are in the table and old ones will be retired on 2014-04-01 Azure SQL DB APIs on 31 October 2025, so you have enough time to test in the dev environment for the upgrade process.

    Hope this helps.

@Moshe Raab, PhD Thanks for sending the email, I have checked the subscription details which you have shared and I don't see any results It means it's good, no old API calls unless you have an application that ran more than 30 days ago and not at all since then, So if you have some application or pipeline that runs once a year or quarterly, then maybe that might still have issues. But that's very unlikely.

    I hope this information helps.
