The error code provided is not clear, and I'm uncertain about the best steps to troubleshoot this issue. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with Windows Update, and if so, what solutions have worked for you? I'm looking for guidance on resolving this update-related issue on my Windows system.

What is the error message for update failure? Can you provide a screenshot of the error?

What is the way you are trying to update, manual or automatic?

What is the KB number of the update package you want to install?

I would like to reconfirm the OS version of the machine in question, can you provide a screenshot?

Could you please provide a screenshot of the update history page?

You could try a manual reset of components. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/deployment/additional-resources-for-windows-update#reset-windows-update-components-manually
sfc /scannow
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
