Setting console font to Courier New the style remains italic, no way to change it

I've set the console font in Windows 7 to Courier New. When I open the console the font style is italic, and there is no way to set it to regular. By default italic is selected by Windows for some reason.

Also when I open the console setting an info window appears to set the font size. I set it, but on next run the same window apears.

windows

How can I set the regular Courier New font for console and get rid of that info box?

    Hi,

I found a thread of the same issue. You can try modifying the registry settings. Open regedit.exe as administrator and select the value named FontFamily under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console. Try setting the value data to the default value 0 and see if this helps.
