Can i buy SSL certificate from godaddy for azure VM default domain like hostname.southeastasia.cloudapp.azure.com ?

    Yes that is possible and you can use your custom third party Certs for your VM - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/linux/tutorial-secure-web-server

    The above URL is an example.
