Hello.

I have a server with the CA function

I have a WEB certificate template created from the default web template with some modifications

Both templates are published in the CA.

I am currently only using the modified template (the one created from the default template).

Can I stop publishing the default template without affecting the modified template?

    Hi @Raul Guchinife

Yes you can without any impact on new template.

When you create new template based on existing template, you will just copy same settings from old template to new one without any impact on new template if you stop publish or delete the old one.

    Hi Raul Guchinife,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Yes, you can stop publishing the default template without affecting the modified template.

The default templates are stored in AD, so they can easily be added back in the future when needed.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best regard,

    Daisy Zhou
