Hi,
I used to have an MS Authenticator working on my Android phone and due to issue I have been asked to uninstall and reinstall MS authenticator. After that when I try to add account using QR code I keep ending up with "Activating Please wait". Nothing happens beyond this.

This issue got resolved when I changed my network connection from wifi to my internet. Please microsoft..take care this issue.

Go figure. Another stellar app from the Wannabe team. Switching from corp wifi to mobile wifi worked instantantly, after all the bla bla bla suggestions from Microsoft, this one was not mentioned. @Microsoft why can't you get it right? And then LEAVE IT ALONE.

I had the same problem, and I finally managed to get it solved!
It is a problem with the internet. I switched from my router Wi-Fi to my modem Wi-Fi, and the app worked. In like 2 seconds the please wait... message was gone and I was asked to confirm the account.
So it has something to do with the internet settings of the network.
Don't know how exactly.
