Hello
It seems like you’re having trouble logging into a Windows 11 Home PC with a Microsoft 365 Business Premium account. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:
Verify the Microsoft 365 Business Premium Account: Double-check that the Microsoft 365 Business Premium account you are trying to use is spelled correctly and is associated with the correct email address.
Check Licensing and Account Type: Verify that the Microsoft 365 Business Premium license is correctly assigned to the user account you are trying to use on the laptop. Additionally, ensure that the account type is set as a “Work or school account” and not a "Personal account".
Ensure the Account Exists in Azure AD: Microsoft 365 Business accounts are typically managed through Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). Ensure that the user account you are trying to use exists in your organization’s Azure AD.
Try a Local Account First: During the Windows 11 setup process, you can choose to set up a local account first instead of using a Microsoft account. Try setting up the laptop with a local account first and then add the Microsoft 365 Business Premium account later from the Windows settings.
Check Windows 11 Home Compatibility: While Microsoft 365 Business Premium accounts should work with Windows 11 Home, there could be specific issues or requirements.
If you’ve already signed in with a Microsoft account, go to Settings > Accounts > Other Users > Add a Work or School Account. Enter your business email address and be sure to set up the account as an Administrator. Sign out and then sign back in, using the “Other Account” option instead of your Microsoft Account.
Please note that you need Windows 10 or 11 Pro for Azure AD sign-in. Windows Home edition won’t work with an Azure AD sign-in.
