Fingerprint and PIN removed after setup

Fingerprint setup just gets removed after restart or after certain time passes on laptop that uses domain accounts. Domain GPO is applied on computer name not on AD account.

    Update Fingerprint driver. Download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website.

    In Start Search type services.msc and hit the enter key.

    • Locate "Windows Biometric Service" and stop it.
    • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\WinBioDatabase.
    • Delete the file named "GUID.DAT"
    • Start the "Windows Biometric Service" again.
    • Re-enroll your fingerprints.

    1. Go to Start, the Run. Type gpmc. msc and click OK.
    2. Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Biometrics.
    3. Ensure "Allow domain users to log on using biometrics" is enabled.
