Arc enabled Kubernetes and GitOps

Hi,

I'm currently trying to configure GitOps in an arc-enabled kubernetes cluster.
For several hours now it seems as if the Flux extension stucks in the status "Creating" .

The configuration of another GitOps fails with the message
"Update failed for this resource, as there is a conflicting operation in progress. Please try after some time."

Am I missing a configuration step here, does the Arc-Enabled Kubernetes still have to be linked via VPN and private link or am I simply missing a step?

Thanks

    Hello Berger-Williams, Juergen,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

Azure Arc-enabled Kubernetes clusters do not require a VPN or private link to be configured in order to use GitOps.

it's possible that Stuck in the "Creating" status could indicate that there is an issue with the flux extension installation.

please check the Azure portal to see if there are any error messages associated with the Flux extension and try uninstalling and reinstalling the extension to see if that resolves the issue.

Regarding the error message you received when trying to update the GitOps configuration, it's possible that there is a conflicting operation in progress, please try after sometime and see it resolves the issue.

Please wait for few minutes and trying again to see if the issue resolves itself.

    Hope this helps.
