Is it possible to use a QR code to log in to Microsoft Teams accounts?

Sorry, first time here so apologies if I’ve made any errors.

I’m a class teacher and subject leader for computing at a UK primary school. We are looking to use Microsoft Teams more effectively, and the current way our teams accounts are set up means that every child and member of staff has one, but logging in is a very lengthy process for the children as it requires typing a very long email address.

We therefore wondered; is it possible to generate QR codes for the children that would input the information for them and log them straight into their TEAMS accounts? This has been suggested, but I was not sure it would be possible to create a QR code that would allow them to log straight in.

I would like to know if there is a way to do this as it would be so helpful for the children! Thank you for anyone who reads, and especially to anyone who responds!

Currently, Teams does not introduce a method to directly enter Teams by scanning the QR code. To get this feature more quickly, you can send a feedback directly to Microsoft Feedback to add it in future updates.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.

However, after you successfully log in once and your Teams cache has not been cleared, your account will be saved in Teams so that you can log in easily next time without having to re-enter your email account.
