Problem with initial windows user and domains

Hello community,

I have a problem related to the domain were my user gets sign in. Have to say I don't have much knowledge in this area, so my question might a bit strange; It's related to my work computer.

When I first start my computer I can directly sign in with my user? the screen displays my name. Problem is that the domain of my company is not specified.

In this same first screen, I can select sign in with another user, and then I can specify the domain, then I use my work email plus password.

One question would be, which is the user that appears when I first sign in? When it only shows my name?

name

I cannot even see here the domain where this user is signing in.

Then the other option:

other_user

Plus when I go to users and accounts, I can only see one user, no matter how I access windows.

I hope it makes sense, and sorry if I mix up things.

Have a nice day, and thanks for any help, I appreciate your time :)

    Hi Victor Martinez Albarracin,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Depending on the screenshot you provided, it seems the user has logged in before.

When I first start my computer I can directly sign in with my user? the screen displays my name. Problem is that the domain of my company is not specified.

A: If this machine is in one domain, you can sign in using local user account or using domain user account ( I assume domain name is domain.com, you can use domain\username and its password to sign in).

Have you logged in successfully and check the user information?

You can specify local user and domain user, if you need to check the user that appears when you first sign in.

You can check the user profile creation time of the user that appears when you first sign in.

Hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou

    Thanks for your answer, Daisy.

Yes, I could log in before using the first screen, and yes I think I have a local user. The root of the problem appeared when I wanted to print using a printer in the server of my company, then I realized my user wasn't logged in in the domain. It appears as it is, but it doesn't work.

If I go to the info of the account in settings, it appears the domain, but the wrong one, can I change it?

Also, I have another question, even if I sign in using the first screen, where I only see my name, or the second one, where I specify my company's email, when going to the users settings it only appears one user, is that correct? I thought by the logic I would be signing with two different users, or am I mixing things?

Thanks again for your time :)
