Ok, I can try. But pls. send the other steps to recreate or copy my existing VM (and all software on it) to this new instance if it works? And do you know how to re-start or repair hypervisor itself? Perhaps that shd. be first step? or if there're any setting to be tweaked for Hyper V to get hypervisor to behave.
The simplest and probably quickest solution here would be to export or copy off the VHD, clean install the host operating system, patch fully, add hyper-v role, then create a new VM on with an identical configuration as existing, then when you get to step Connect Virtual Hard Disk choose Use an existing virtual hard disk and point to the VHD. This, of course, assumes the VHD itself is not somehow problematic.
