How to create multiple VLANs on Windows 11 Pro

I'm working with Windows 11 Pro with 3 NICs based on Intel i211 and 82576 chips.

I need to create multiple VLANs on the three cards, but I don't want to create Hyper-V virtual switches just for this purpose.

I know I could do it in the NIC properties, but I don't see the Intel tab where I can create them, nor can I find any updated drivers.

Intel's tools only support Windows 10.

Does anyone know how to create them?

I don't see any EasyVLan software on the web.
I am not able to create multiple VLANs on windows 11 using Intel i211.

I don't want to use Hyper-V to do that

    Hi @GioSomma,

    Hope you are doing well.

Unfortunately, Intel has discontinued support for creating VLANs directly from the NIC properties in recent versions of Windows, including Windows 11. This means you won't find the Intel tab for managing VLANs. You can refer below KB article and achive.

However, there are still ways to create multiple VLANs on your Windows 11 Pro system:

    Third-Party Tools

Several third-party tools can help you manage VLANs on Windows 11, even without Intel support. Some popular options include:

    • VMware Workstation Player: This software allows you to create virtual machines and assign them to specific VLANs on your physical NICs.
    • Advanced IP Scanner: This tool scans your network and identifies VLANs, allowing you to manage them through its interface.
    • EasyVLan: This user-friendly software lets you create and manage VLANs directly on your Windows 11 system.

    Things to Remember:

    • Ensure your network switch supports VLANs and is configured correctly for your desired network segmentation.
    • Each VLAN requires a unique VLAN ID to differentiate traffic and maintain isolation.
    • Assign IP addresses to each vNIC or VLAN interface based on your network configuration.

I hope this information helps! Let me know if you have any further questions. please accept as answer if it helps you.

    Thank you

I can't find a way to assign even a single VLAN to a physical NIC.

How is it possible to do this on Win11 Pro with NICs based on Intel i211 and 82576 chips?
