Hi, might sound like a silly question, but is there the option to reset a device using autopilot but keeping the base applications (eg. MS Office 365). Might sound odd but we have some users that operate in low bandwidth areas so want to ensure that it doesnt timeout or fail during the current Office installs during the ESP. Fresh start is the usual preferred option but was hoping for a quicker solution to reassign.

The devices would usually be reassigned to another user in the same office/region. Not sure if this is the same or simple enough to just unenroll the device from one user and reenroll to another. Basically want to remove all previous user data and reset app data before reassigning.

Currently these are what we have assigned for each autopilot option

[Fresh Start] - reset device, prepare for new user (apps and policies at ESP)

[Autopilot Reset] - reset device, usually reassigned to same user (reset as last resort for troubleshooting issues), reset apps/policies reapplied at ESP

[Retire/Wipe] - remove device from tenant, reset. pull out of circulation

No, unfortunately there is no such option. I totally see your point here.

Actually, about the office it says "removes all preloaded Win32 apps". Office is not Win32 app (unless you would create it manually). Have you tested it, will fresh start actually remove the office or not?
