sharing photo gallery for Anyone with link

Recently moved from Google Workspace to Office365 Business.

Preschool teachers weekly submit pictures organized by classroom. Each classroom has its own folder. One-drive doesn't have "Photo folder", created one in Sharepoint Communications Site. Loaded the folder with some "dummy" pictures.

Created a Page with the photos in it and was able to share the .aspx page within the organisation or with specific email holders.

How can I share to "Anyone" (even outside the organization) with a link? According to MS docs .aspx cannot be shared without authentication. I can share the folder of the pics but all I see is lists of filenames, not an album.

Looking for an alternative to avoid having to go back to Google pics.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Hi @Leon Wagschal,

SharePoint Online uses claims-based authentication. SharePoint Online does not have a claim called or aliased as Anyone or Anonymous Access or something similar. So, we cannot access a SharePoint page anonymously also SharePoint pages cannot be shared with "Anyone."

As an alternative, you can create a folder in a document library and upload photos to the folder. Folder is allowed to be shared with "Anyone".

Thank you. I solved the problem by implementing another step: publishing via googlepics but storing in OneDrive.
