Pretty much self-explanatory from the title. I had access to vs last year because of I was able to subcribe to a student license, this year it has expired and I need help to renew its license.

Have you followed the instructions shared by Dave to renew your license, and does it work?
I notice that you mentioned "student license", I’m not sure if you are using Visual Studio Community version, but if you are using it, as this whitepaper(page 8) indicates:
Any number of users within an organization can use Visual Studio Community for the following scenarios:
in a classroom learning environment or for academic research.
You should be able to continue using VS Community.
