Sharepoint: Cannot add members to group

Question

I have a site with document libraries and lists. I wanted to add members but received the error as per picture 1. I decided to check site information (picture 2) and found that it could not load; no error messages, but a spinning circle. Picture 3 shows a snap shot of where the number of members usually appear.

How can I fix this?

Hi @Lorne Andersen ,

We'd recommend you check if the related M365 group get deleted by accident. Please navigate to Admin Center as admin > Teams & Groups > Active teams & groups to check if associated group still appear in the list.

If we delete the group from there, the error will prompt in our test.

We'd recommend you then navigate to the deleted groups to see if you can restore the group from there.
