How do I access the Custom Voice Lite or Personal Voice Preview in Australia with the region not being supported?

I am trying to access the Personal Voice Preview in Australia. My access was granted to the personal voice preview after I filled in the form, here is the email confirmation: Thank you for your interest in Microsoft Cognitive Services Personal Voice Demo. We have reviewed the application you sent on 12/1/2023, and your application has been approved.

Your Azure Subscription is now enabled to allow you to access the personal voice demo. You can go to Speech Studio and explore the feature after December 1st 2023.  Please be reminded that this approval does not provide you the access to the personal voice API. To get the full access to the API and integrate the personal voice feature in your apps, submit another form .

Then when I clicked through to the Speech Studio it said that my region wasn't supported.

How do I make sure I can access this in my region? My resource is activated for Australiaeast.

Personal voice is currently a preview feature. Please note that the access was granted / approved for your subscription and not for the region.

Note, personal voice is available in these regions: West Europe, East US, and South East Asia.

So you need to first create the Speech Service resource in the above regions and then you will be able to use the Speech Studio and access the Personal Voice (preview) feature as shown below:

The closest region for Australia is South East Asia. So until it is made available to Australia region, you can use this. Currently there is no ETA on when this feature would be made available to Australia region.
