MSOLAP$LocalCube
Every time I open a pivot table in Excel I get the following message four times in my event viewer Administrative Events log:

The description for Event ID 25 from source MSOLAP$LocalCube cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

I create an Excel table and insert a pivot table in a column and row.

at this point I get the error message on the creation of the Pivot table.

In trying to research a solution I find that it is an old bug that was fixed in 2015. However, I cannot get any of the suggestions to work in 2023.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

What troubleshooting methods have you tried?

Did you install other versions of Office in the PC before?

I suggest you try to re-install Office after uninstall Office from PC completely first. You can download the Office tool to help you uninstall all Office from PC completely:

    https://aka.ms/SaRA-officeUninstallFromPC

Try this method first and check if it works for you.
