SSMS and Report Builder crashing randomly. Unable to open VS 2019

I’m having a few different issues that I think may be related, maybe not.
First, SSMS and Report Builder have been crashing when I try to use the applications. Sometimes its as soon as I open the application, and sometimes its when I am clicking around and trying to do something. There is usually no error message displayed.
Second, I am getting a Side by Side configuration error when I try to Open VS 2019. I have no issues using VS Code or VS 2022.
I first thought it was an issue with antivirus software, but when looking through logs I did not find anything.
In command prompt, I have tried doing a SFC scan and DISM scan health and restore health.
I have also tried updating Visual Studio and reinstalling SSMS and Report Builder.
When I tried to repair VS 2019, I got an error: The type 'concurrent`1' in assembly 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Telemetry Version= 16.0.0.0, culture=neutral, publickeytoken=' has a contracting interface set for some instantiations
Nothing I have done has helped so far, looking for any guidance. Thanks.

I think we need to first fix the configuration issue of VS 2019 on your side, and then check the crashing issue about VS 2019 and SSMS, Report Builder.
Did you modify any VS 2019 configurations or files manually?
Try to rename following folder:
C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\16.0_XXXXXXXX\ComponentModelCacheAnd reset VS 2019 settings by closing VS, running
devenv /ResetSettingsinDeveloper Command Prompt for Visual Studio 2019. You may also need to disable some installed extensions(in VS) temporarily, after that check if the same issue appears again. -

2023-12-12T17:04:04.5566667+00:00 I tried both of those and was unsuccessful. I uninstalled VS 2019 and VS 2022 and then only reinstalled VS 2022. I also removed my SSIS extension. VS is fine now but I'm still having SSMS Issues. Here are a few errors I got when trying to open a new query window or log onto an instance this morning:
Method 'Invalid MethodDef record' on type 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.UI.VSIntegration.ShellWindowPaneUserControl' from assembly' tried to override a method with a different signature. (SqlEditors)
Could not load type 'EnvDTE.IExtensibleObject' from assembly 'EnvDTE, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'. (Microsoft.VisualStudio.Platform.WindowManagement)
Unable to process the existing user settings and will overwrite the file with user settings from this session. A backup of this file could be used to reattempt loading in those settings or for diagnostics by contacting Microsoft through https://aka.ms/sqlfeedback

I see this error "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt." in the error message. For this error, there are many causes.
Does this issue also appear on a newly created project?
Looks Visual Studio works correctly but SSRS/SSMS doesn’t work normally. If you can reproduce this issue, could you please also submit a ticket here: SQL for further investigate? If you do submit a ticket, please share the ticket link here for better tracking.
