Phrasing in Application Process
Hi folks,
I have a question about the phrasing of a portion of the application process I just went through with Microsoft. When coming to the end of the application submission, I was met with a couple of questions and a disclaimer seen below:
Job Specific Questions (Required field)
By continuing with your application, you acknowledge that answering “no” to the questions below will disqualify you from consideration for this role. As stated in the job posting, COMPANY is unable to sponsor a work visa for this role due to the nature of the role’s job duties. In order for you to obtain or to maintain employment eligibility, will you now or in the future require the company’s sponsorship for an immigration-related employment benefit?
(Make a Selection of Yes or No)
Is the phrasing here confusing to anyone else? I'm not in need of sponsorship, so my answer is no, but by answering no, it appears I'm disqualifying myself from consideration. Has anyone seen this before, or have any guidance on how to answer/understand the ask? If there's someone else better suited to answer this question a nudge in the right direction would be helpful.
Thanks in advance!
