After increasing memory, the available memory in the system properties does not increase
What is the reason, please tell me, thank you
Hello 因为所以
The issue you’re encountering might be due to the Maximum Memory option being limited in your system configuration.
Here are the steps to verify if that’s the case:
Click on the Start button, type "msconfig" in the search box, and then click on msconfig.exe from the search results.
In the System Configuration window, click on the Boot tab.
Under the Boot options, click on the Advanced options button.
In the BOOT Advanced Options window, check if the Maximum memory checkbox is checked. If it is, uncheck it. This option limits the amount of memory that Windows can use.
Click OK to close the BOOT Advanced Options window, click Apply and OK to close the System Configuration window, and then restart your computer.
If the Maximum Memory option was not checked or if the above steps didn’t solve the issue, it might be a good idea to check if your motherboard’s BIOS/UEFI firmware is up to date. Sometimes, an outdated firmware can prevent the system from recognizing all the installed RAM.
