Hi I was unable to add a custom IDN domain name, the domain is

Custom domains is xn--mgb5a8an.xn--mgbtx2b

I just tried to reproduce your issue but I was able to create a IDN domain with the above (ASCII-Compatible Encoding).

What error message are you facing when you try to deploy a domain with the name "xn--mgb5a8an.xn--mgbtx2b" ?

Validation failed because the expected DNS records are not found: The name xn--mgb5a8an.xn--mgbtx2b is not valid. Try checking the hostname records entered with your domain provider. Note that it can take up to 48 hours for records changes to take effect.

@Saif Can you please verify that your domain's DNS is in a public zone and not private zone?
Also, can you try checking to see if the CNAME record has propagated through DNS? This can take awhile depending on your TTL values and it might be that you just needed to give it more time.

@Saif I think the best thing would be for you to reach out to us so we can review the logs and get a better understanding of what is happening. You seem to meet the requirements so not sure why this is not completing.

Can you please send an email to azcommunity@microsoft.com with the subject as ATTN: Bryan and in the body of the email please include your Azure subscription ID. We look forward to your reply.
