windows10 sdk install failed, "Setup is already running"

Hello,

My windows 10 SDK standalone installer wont work.

I was oringinally installing new windows 10 sdk version from visual studio 2022 installer.

During the setup the computer was forced to restart once.

Then the windows 10 SDK setup always fails.

I tried kill msiexec.exe and services, didn't work.

Restart didn't work.

Any suggestions?

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A! 

    As the error message suggests, maybe the setup is already in process. 

    If you have selected the Windows 10 SDK component from Visual Studio Installer, please open the Visual Studio installer and check if you could click on “Resume” to continue the installation.
