@Emel Gizem AY Thanks for reaching out to us, to answer your question,
- Is there a limit in the "Pay-As-You-Go" model when transitioning to more intensive usage? If there is a limit, how is it determined?
Pay-As-You-Go model does have certain limits, which are primarily to prevent fraud and abuse. These are generally referred to as subscription service limits, quota, or restrictions. Pronunciation Assessment follows the limit of Azure Speech to Text, you can find it here -
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/speech-service/speech-services-quotas-and-limits
- If there is a limit, what is the process when it is exceeded? How should the resolution process be followed in case of limit exceeded?
If you exceed these limits, you might encounter service disruptions. However, you can request an increase in these limits by filing a service request with Azure support. They will review your request and adjust your limits based on your usage needs.
- Is there a possibility of any discount when committing to use the service for the long term (more than a year)? Is there a possibility of the service being discontinued or stopped in the future?
If there is a deprecation happens in the future, there will be a notification and you have 3 years to migrate your service.
For the discount of commitment tie, you can refer to here - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/cognitive-services/speech-services/
You can also do a calculation to see how different usage effect - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/calculator/?service=cognitive-services
Please let me know if you have more questions.
