Remote Desktop app from Microsoft Store cannot connect to RDS farm

Hi there,

I'm having an issue connecting to my RDS farm through the Remote Desktop app from the Microsoft Store. The farm is set up on Windows Server 2022 with 2 gateways, 1 license server, and 10 session hosts on a private network, which has an LB to handle 443/TCP and 3391/UDP connections at AWS. It works and I can establish sessions through RemoteApp and Desktop Connections or RDWeb, but when I try to connect through the Remote Desktop Microsoft Store app with the same workspace, it uses port 3389/TCP and starts redirecting directly to the servers, which are on the private network.

I have noticed if I use the same RDWeb shortcut and open it with the Remote Desktop Microsoft Store it works, so I suspect the problem is in the workspace configuration.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

    Hello,

You may forget to choose the gateway, you can open your Remote desktop app and choose "advance" , you can set your gateway here.
