Hi everyone,

I have a question. What is the folder bg-BG in the SysWOW64 for ? Because I checked it and it is empty.

I search some information about SysWOW64 folder and it is said that it contains essential files for running the window and deleting the SysWOW64 will results in constant crash.

Of course I did not delete SysWOW64 or any folders inside it but this folder bg-BG is empty and I cannot find any further information online. I have not got any crashing experience on my laptop yet but I am wondering what does the folder contain and is it vital ? How can I retrieve essential files for that folder?

    Hi, @Quoc Minh Hoang

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

The bg-BG folder in the SysWOW64 directory is a language-specific folder for Bulgarian language resources. It is not essential for the system to function properly and can be safely deleted if it is empty.

It is possible that the folder was created during a software installation that required Bulgarian language resources. If you do not use Bulgarian language features, you can safely ignore this folder.
