Hi,

So we know that technically we can't audit the Azure File Shares, look at who read/modified the file.
What if we use the hybrid solution in which we enable the cache on Windows Server. Then OS uses HTTPS protocol to transfer the files and the user uses SMB to map the drives with the destination on the Server. If we then activate auditing, will we se logs in the event viewer?

It's an idea to explor, sounds like a workaround. I'm wondering if anyone already tried that solution.

Warmly,
Micha
