How to open Teams as a separate user of Microsoft 365 Family Teams

I have an MS 365 Family account. I sent an invite to a family member to join. After accepting, I set up Teams on their Chromebook computer using their own Gmail account and password (or so I thought). As a test, when they set up a meeting with someone on Teams, they appear in the meeting under my screen name and email. When they click on a Teams meeting invite sent to their own Gmail account from someone else, it asks them to login to the email account the MS 365 Family account was set up under.

  • How do we ensure that Teams opens with their user name/email and that when in a meeting, it is their user name or profile that appears?

Any assistance appreciated. I have very little understanding of Teams except as a user whose company computer was set up by and constantly monitored and updated by a paid administrator - please keep answers simple and step by step.

Thank you!

    Hi @Brick House

Does this user always appear with your account when setting up meetings?

Please try clearing the Teams cache and logging in to Teams again with the user's account:
