Hello.

I would like to update Windows Server 2019 in an offline environment. I am thinking of downloading the necessary updates from "https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/home.aspx" from a computer connected to the Internet.

①I want to download it, but I don't know how to choose. Please tell me how to download everything I need.

②I would like to apply what I downloaded in ① to the server, but is it okay to run it as is? Please let me know if there is an order in which to run them.

③Please let me know if there is a way to confirm that the update has been completed successfully.

④Please let me know if there are any other points to note.

thank you.

    Hi @まなぶ

②I would like to apply what I downloaded in ① to the server, but is it okay to run it as is? Please let me know if there is an order in which to run them.

You should download and install all update of products installed on your servers.

For example you can start by the OS update December 12, 2023—KB5033371 (OS Build 17763.5206)

There is no order to follow

③Please let me know if there is a way to confirm that the update has been completed successfully.

You can on the control panel:

Uninstall Windows 10 updates – Atera Support

    Or powershell:

    User's image

④Please let me know if there are any other points to note.

I recommend you to deploy WSUS service to be able to download and install automatically on offline servers.

Offline servers will be able to detect and deploy new update through WSUS

    Deploy Windows Server Update Services

Yes, this is fine to do. Just download and install the latest SSU (service stack update) followed by the latest cumulative update. Check in Server Manager\Windows Updates History to see status and results.
