Azure labs VM pool slow to load, students having difficulty accessing VMs

In the southeast Asia region, the VM pool page is taking a very long time to load, and students are having issues starting VMs, changing passwords, etc. This problem only emerged today after some weeks of use. Service statuses give no indication of a problem, but is anyone else seeing this issue too? Thanks, Steve.

There is enough VM capacity; the VMs are already allocated. The issue yesterday was with using them and accessing Lab Services dashboard pages.

I wanted to file a technical support ticket, but with a basic subscription I cannot, so coming here was, AFAIK, the only place to report an issue, particularly as there was no information on the Azure status website - something I noted in my initial question already.

It seems to be fine again today. So the question is, what happened? Clearly there was some kind of issue, perhaps slow API response, but I see no report of it. Incidentally, I note that https://azure.status.microsoft/en-us/status doesn't specifically list Azure Labs or Lab Services, only DevTest Labs. So presumably the only way to infer an issue with Labs is if a service it depends on it labelled as having an issue?

I got an SMTP bounce from one of the recipient addresses behind the e-mail you provided, but I presume there are others to which it will be successfully delivered?

m***p@microsoft.com status code 550 5.7.133 RESOLVER.RST.SenderNotAuthenticatedForGroup; authentication required; Delivery restriction check failed because the sender was not authenticated when sending to this group
