Whenever I run Halo Infinite, I received the following crash immediately upon loading with no additional information. From Event viewer I have found this. I have reinstalled the game and verified integrity of files.

There was an update to Halo infinite

I have run system file checker, I have reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package x86 and x64, used the DISM Cleanup tool and none will work.

I have tried to do a system restore, however but received, even after using check disk and confirmed the drive wasn't dirty.

I'm not an expert on any of this stuff so my solutions may be fishing in the wrong places. But I'm almost completely out of luck. I only found one other person online with this issue after the most recent Halo update.

    Hello JF,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with Halo Infinite. It seems like you’ve already tried a number of troubleshooting steps. Here are a few more suggestions based on similar issues others have reported:

Game Mode: Some users have reported that turning off Game Mode in Windows resolved the issue. You can do this by searching for “Game Mode” in your Windows search bar and toggling it off.

New User Account: Another suggestion was to create a new user account on your computer and download the game there to check if the issue persists.

App Settings: You could also try going to the Halo Infinite App settings (you can find this by typing “Halo” into the Windows Search bar and clicking on “App settings” to the right of the Halo Infinite App icon). From there, you can try repairing and resetting the Halo Infinite app.

Local Game Cache: Deleting the local game cache, disabling Fullscreen Optimizations, and overriding DPI Scaling set to Application were also suggested as potential solutions.

If none of these suggestions work, it might be best to reach out to Halo Support directly. They may be able to provide more specific assistance based on your system configuration and the exact nature of the issue.

    Best Regards,

    Wesley Li
