    Open Control Panel.

    Click System and Security.

    Click Windows Update.

    Click the Change Settings button.

Select the Give me updates for other Microsoft products when I update Windows check box.

    Click OK.

Try same commands like ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old and

    *ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old

If that doesn't work, try Windows 11 Assistant: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11*

    Hi @Wojtek K,

    Didn't help either.

What should I do with Windows 11 Assistant?

    Hello,

According to your description, you have tried to reset Windows Update components manually. The error code 0x80248014 is typically associated with problems related to the Windows Update service, and it may occur if the system cannot access the Windows Update server. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and fix the issue:

    1.Restart Windows Update Service

Press Win + R, type services.msc and hit Enter to open Services.

Find ‘Windows Update’ in the list, right-click it and select ‘Stop’. Wait a few moments, then right-click it again and select ‘Start’.

Restart your computer and try running Windows Update again.

    2.Clear the Windows Update Cache

Open the Services window again as described above.

Find ‘Windows Update’, right-click it and select ‘Stop’.

Navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and delete everything in the folder (these are just temporary files and it’s safe to delete them).

Go back to the Services window, right-click ‘Windows Update’ and select ‘Start’.

    Try running Windows Update again.

3.Try to connect other network to see if the update could be download and install.

4.If above steps could not work, I suggest that try to install the update manually. Download KB5033375 from link below:
    https://catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB5033375

Then install KB5033375 check if it works.

    Hope it helps.

    Regards.

Hi All, It seems all computers in the organization are affected no matter be it Windows 10 or Windows 11. Is there any way to test connectivity to Microsoft Windows Update servers?
