Hi,
We're facing a problem in getting our new Windows 2022 installation activated to our existing KMS server.
Situation:
Server running KMS service:
New server:
Error message on the new server:
Application log on the new server:
Application log on the KMS server:
KMS Client product key used:
I'm starting to think only windows 2022 KMS can activate Windows 2022, but according to the informaton I can find on the MS website, an updated instance of server 2019 should also be able to do this.
Is anybody experiencing the same problem? Or has anybody found a solution?

You cannot activate Server 2022 using Server 2019 CSVLK, you need to a new KMS Host key
Hello,
According to your description, it seems that we want to use windows 2019 CSVLK activate Windows 2022 client, I'm afraid that could not activate it.
If what I understand is wrong, please check the options below:
1.Check for KMS client key compatibility: Verify that the KMS client key used for activating Windows Server 2022 is valid and compatible with your KMS server. Ensure that the product key you are using is specifically intended for activating Windows Server 2022.
2.Check network connectivity: Ensure that there are no network connectivity issues between the new Windows Server 2022 and the KMS server. Verify that the new server can communicate with the KMS server over the network on the correct port (typically TCP port 1688).
Hope it helps.
