This is more of an observation than a problem. I've seen this occur since windows 8 on various systems.

Example: you start disk cleanup and after you tel it to run it shows a progress bar that slowly does it's thing which is fine. However, after it completes, the box just sits there and as soon as you move the mouse it closes, but only after the mouse moves.

I've seen this happen on numerous programs and just wonder why. Is there a reason or a fix?

Try run Windows Update and download and install all updates and make sure update your drivers including graphic card driver and see if the problem persists.

    Hello,

My operating system is Windows 10 Enterprise. After choosing the files to delete, the Disk Cleanup process completes with the cleaning of thumbnails.

Yes, interestingly, the window closes when I type any word on the keyboard. This might be intentional default behavior. Perhaps it serves as a subtle reminder that the process has finished, ensuring users notice the completion of the progress bar.
