Need MSID or Candidate ID to register with PearsonVue for cert exam (broken functionality in MS Learn blocking registration so need to call them directly.))

Question

I am a long-time MSFT Certification holder and have an active account which I regularly use for training. While logged in, I attempt to register for a certification test. Doing this, I blocked on the Apply Discounts step; I have no discounts to apply. When I click next, it loses track of the test for which I selected and reverts back to the Apply Discounts page.

Question 1: how can I get past this?

Question 2: when I try to register manually for a test with Pearson by calling them, they request my MSID. I have an MCID for my certification profile but can not find an MSID which they require for registration.
