I believe I have the same problem:
- On the "edge://settings/profiles/sync" page, when I activate synchronization, only the "Payments using Microsoft account" category appears available to select.
- The others are unavailable (in gray) and below them is the message: "Coming soon! We'll turn it on [...]".
- After confirming that I want to activate synchronization, "Setting up sync" appears for a moment, but then "Not syncing" appears again.
- The option "Reset sync data from Microsoft servers" doesn't work the first time I click on it; the second time it works but it stays forever at 0% (progress).
- On the "edge://sync-internals/" page, when I click on "Disable Sync (Clear Server Data)", "auth error since..." appears in Local state -> Server Connection; no message appears in the Type Info section.
- On the "edge://signin-internals/" page, "Signed In, Consented for Sync" appears under Basic Information -> Signin Status.
- On Microsoft Edge for Android, it doesn't sync my data either.
What I've already tried:
- Log out and log in again;
- Clear all my browsing data;
- Reinstalling Microsoft Edge on Windows (Windows Settings -> Apps -> [...] -> Microsoft Edge -> Modify).
- Use my mobile hotspot to connect to the internet.
I've already submitted feedback via Microsoft Edge.
