Microsoft Edge sync stuck at "Setting up Sync" on Debian

Question

Could anyone help me?

Scenario: Sync is not working and is stuck at "Setting up Sync" status.

Result: Unable to access synced data and unable to sync data across my Microsoft environment.

Environment: Debian operating system.

Troubleshooting efforts: logged out and then logged in again, tried re-syncing, added firewall rule to allow traffic on port 443, Re-installed Microsoft edge Beta after completely purging it, even tried installing Dev and canary versions.
