Hi, I'm installing windows 11 on a new HP laptop. Install package runs OK from USB drive. However, no drivers. Downloaded drivers from 3 different sites (Intel, HP, Asus), unpacked and copied it on USB, but popup window says there are no suitable files on usb. USB same as for installation pack so should work fine. It is recognised too (offered as an option in browse). According to videos I should select the drive and then get its contents and select the exe, only when I click on it, I don't get the content of the USB, just the same message that no usable files can be found. What can be the problem? USB OK, drive file OK, still no success. Thanks

Make sure the pc manufacturer chipset has been installed as first step. The chipset allows the operating system to find and use devices integrated into the mother board.

The content of the USB is not recognised

You'll need to ask the provider (HP) about this problem. Most chipsets are stand-alone EXEs. Maybe the files somehow got renamed and therefore no longer recognized.

    Hello Eva Méh

According to your description, I suggest that try to download the ISO from official webiste and follow the steps below in HP website to check.
    https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4859717-4859823-16

Meanwhile, three options below we could check:

Check the file format: Make sure that the driver file is in a format that is supported by the Windows Setup window. Typically, driver files are provided in executable (.exe) or compressed (.zip) formats. If the file is compressed, you may need to extract it before it can be loaded.

Use a different USB port: If you are using a USB drive to load the driver file, try using a different USB port on your computer.

Check for compatibility: Ensure that the driver file is compatible with the version of Windows you are installing. If the driver file is not compatible, it may not be recognized by the Windows Setup window.

    Best Regards
