How to change email address of default directory

Question

I created an Azure tenant a while back with a Microsoft account that has old email address (@Yahoo.com). I have since changed the email address of my Microsoft account to my new (@gmail.com). But it still shows my old email address in the Azure portal.

I suspect the account that I use to sign into Azure (which is the account I used to create the intial directory) still has my old email address somewhere.

How do I remove the old yahoo email address?
