Change Hyper-v Cluster Name

Dear:

When we create Hyper-v Cluster;Enter incorrect cluster name

Domain name is contoso.local，Cluster name is ClusterA;

But input ClusterA.contoso.local

So Cluster name is ClusterA.contoso.local.contoso.local.contoso.local

Now I hope change cluster name(rename)

I have three cluster node；

Each Hyper-v Server have some virtual machine

Can I do this?111

    yes you can .

    Just be sure that new name is not in use.

    You have to restart all your Virtual machines and nodes to apply this modification. You can restart them once by one to reduce down time.

    So You will have a down time to take in account.
