I can't access an attendance report or even see any privacy settings related to attendance recording

I am struggling to view an attendance report on Teams meeting. It is not available in the chat:

Several forums say to view the attendance from the calendar after the meeting but I don't see any tab related to attendance in that view either.

I have read that you need to be the meeting organizer to view these reports, which I am. I also read that your admin needs to activate the ability to record attendance. However, I am using a personal account and am working as a freelancer so I am not sure how/where to find my admin settings. I would expect to be able to toggle attendance recording on/off in the privacy settings of Teams but I don't even see any option regarding it listed at all:

Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I have my suspicions that attendance records are reserved for enterprise accounts but I can't see any documentation that confirms this.

    Hi @Allie Ryklief

Participants can decide whether they want their information shown in attendance reports by going to Settings > Privacy in Teams and turning the Identify me in attendance reports toggle on or off.

    Identify me in attendance reports

You'll find the attendance report in a few different places.

    • During the meeting: select People > Select More actions > select Download attendance list.
    • Identify me in attendance reports
    • After the meeting: In Teams, go to Calendar, open the meeting, and select the Attendance tab. You can view the data directly in Teams. Image displaying the meeting invite screen with the "attendance" tab called out at the top.
