I am trying to set up my sandbox for az104 training. When I get to the Saas setup I get this error message: "Please contact the Publisher Admin to make sure the Email-ID is added to the tenant with the relevant role (For Example: Publisher Admin) before proceeding with the registration"

I set up my Entra account and my profile is set as global admin. Please assist.

To solve the error you can start by checking the directory that your are loging into , If your are not in the sandbox directory switch it :

If you still geting the error message this typically indicates that the email ID you’re using to set up the sandbox for your AZ-104 training is not yet added to the tenant with the relevant role. In this case, the role mentioned is the “Publisher Admin”.

Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

Contact the Publisher Admin: The Publisher Admin is the person who has administrative access to the Azure environment you’re trying to access. They should be able to add your email ID to the tenant.

Check your role: Ensure that your email ID is associated with the correct role (Publisher Admin) in the Azure environment.

Re-try the registration: Once your email ID has been added to the tenant with the correct role, you should be able to proceed with the registration.

If you continue to experience issues, I recommend referring to the AZ-104: Prerequisites for Azure administrators or the Study guide for Exam AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator for more detailed information and guidance. If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
